Rediscovering Your Inner Don Juan: The Fountain of Youth for Masculinity

Rejoice! And be glad! All those frustrations, hesitations, nervousness, burning, butterflies of unease, confusions, and the errors that manifest when your mind says, "Do this," but your body and personality do not follow—all of these can be washed away forever.

Yes, you thought yourself ignorant about women—so inexperienced, so confused—and you seemed to be following an evil circle. Maybe you were like me, a super mega-dork who slept through life until now. And perhaps, like I did, you read and reread all the material on women and life you could get your hands on.

But what if I told you that you were always a Don Juan at one point in time? And I do not mean in a specific situation or hour—I mean that at one point in your life, you knew everything about women and handled them with perfect ease. It was so natural that if anyone told you to look at a website or read a book for “information,” you would laugh yourself silly!

Wouldn’t that change everything? Wouldn’t you say to yourself, “Well, if I was the perfect Don Juan, then I would try to remember how I thought and what I did when I was that Don Juan, rather than mining endless posts and books. After all, if I was a Don Juan, then I require only recollection, not revelation.”

Go find a picture of yourself when you were a young kid (say, at age six). Look at him! He is smiling gleefully without a care in the world. He doesn’t know he is going to turn into the sad adult that you are now. Hormonally, the only difference between you and your youthful shadow is that you are now flooded with testosterone and in a state of chemical madness. Your youthful shadow knows better the joys of life. It is no wonder parents find their offspring such a wonder as they reframe the dull life of bills, appointments, and responsibilities with the fire of youth.

Yes, you say that you are an adult now. You have responsibilities such as bills and chores and work to do. You have no time for such nonsense. Or do you?

I bet when you were a kid, you were a natural Don Juan. I bet you got all the girls in the sandbox. As a child, you knew how to treat women better then, even though you are now an adult. Some of these factors include:

• You knew girls and guys were different. You knew there was male and female.
• You realized girls had cooties and could destroy a guy. This isn’t far off—girls can totally devour and destroy a man and his life.
• You knew it was improper to be girlish. Older people get an error in the brain called philosophy, filled with pious moralizations and rambling dissertations. You knew early on that you cannot free yourself from gender.
• Girls were not to be taken seriously. Nice guys take women seriously in every little thing and can never say no to them.
• Girls were to be guided and teased. You pulled their hair, made fun of their clothes—not because some dating guru told you to, but because you knew instinctively it was right and proper.
• You never left the plans up to the woman. As a kid, you decided what to do, when, and where.
• You didn’t have deep talks with girls. You played, chased, teased—everything was action.
• You loved to sing and laugh. Now you’re too uptight to do either.
• You had toys and played with them. Your childhood love for speed, construction, and firetrucks still applies in adulthood.
• You embraced your imagination. You created fun roles and adventures—never boring dinners.
• You fought boredom as your greatest enemy. This still applies with women today—never bore them.
• You cared about appearance. Even as a boy, you knew clothes mattered.
• You looked up to your father as a demi-god. That strong, confident presence is what women seek in men.

Some women may protest this way of looking at them as little girls, but it works especially well with younger women. This also explains the old legal view of women as children. And I’d tell women to treat men the same way—women are most charming when they view us as boys.

“He, whom the gods love, grows young,” said the ancient Greeks. Look at that picture of young you—now look in the mirror. Does the same light shine in your eyes? If not, you know what you need to do.

The Fountain of Youth is not in the world—it is in us. Women, surprisingly, are the key that unlocks its mysteries. Rather than fearing a date, see it as if you were seven years old—fun and simple. Women go crazy for men who keep their boyhood charm because they want an escape from the dullness of adulthood.

Time corrupts the body through cell division errors, but the mind is corrupted by philosophies, politics, and over-intellectualizing. This post is anti-intellectual for a reason: too much thinking and theorizing ruins your sexuality.

Cleanse your mind of philosophical dust and bitter memories. Sip from the fountain of youth:

• With one sip, the complexity of women vanishes.
• With two sips, you stop over-talking and start having fun.
• With three sips, dating theories look ridiculous.

Children don’t intellectualize life—they live it. The Don Juan you seek is not a new skillset but the child you once were, free from the dust of overthinking. That child is your key to living again in a man’s body with a youthful mind.

Live again. The world is your sandbox.
